Social partners

ShaPE explores the historical role of social partners in shaping Social Europe to inform their future roles in addressing current challenges like green, digital, and demographic transitions, as well as EU strategic autonomy. Through innovative analysis of EU Treaty-making and law-making, ShaPE creates a meta-archive and digital exhibition to anchor future research. The project bridges perspectives across Member States, generations, and disciplines to produce academic analysis, reports, and proposals for equipping EU Treaties and enabling social partners to meet new challenges.

The OSE has moved forward with the research on "The Development of Supplementary pensions in Europe" for the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI). The second and final workshop was held in Brussels on 27-28 October 2011.
