The European Social Observatory has been asked to draft, in collaboration with Ides Nicaise from the Higher Institute for Labour Studies (HIVA, KU Leuven), an assessment of the extent to which the measures proposed in the Belgian National Reform Programmes (NRP) are ensuring progress towards the Europe 2020’s social inclusion objectives and target. The report will be an input into the preparation of the analysis of the NRPs that should lead to the adoption of Country Specific Recommendations (CSRs) in the scope of Guideline 10 and in line with the provisions of article 148 of the Treaty and to the assessment of the National Social Reports (NSRs). The work is done on behalf of the EU Network of Independent Experts on Social Inclusion.
