The role of digital platforms in the ongoing transformations of the home care sector

Final Conference of the ORIGAMI Project  (hOme caRe dIGital platforMs and Industrial relations)

The final conference of this project, which is funded by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, will provide an opportunity to discuss the main findings of a two-year research project investigating the impact of digital platforms on the transformation of personal and household services (PHS) in six European countries: Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.

Keynote speakers: Ursula Huws (Analytica Social and Economic Research) and Uma Rani (ILO).

Research sessions: The landscape of digital platforms in the home care sector and collective actions and innovative strategies (national case studies and comparative analysis). 

Policy roundtables with decision-makers and stakeholders: Discussions on the project’s findings, a policy proposal at EU level and advancing recommendations.
