L'OSE a été chargé par l'Institut syndical européen (ETUI) et la Chambre autrichienne du travail (AK Europa) de mener des recherches qui ont abouti à un rapport intitulé "From the European Semester to the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF).
The European Commission-funded programme for cooperation between the EU and Latin America on social and employment policies ‘EUROsociAL+’ asked the OSE to conduct a study on the socio-ecological dimension of the EU recovery from the Covid-19 crisis. The objective of this research is twofold. First, to identify and discuss relevant initiatives taken at the EU level aimed at linking and making environmental and social objectives compatible in the recovery from the Covid-19 crisis.
The European Trade Union Institute (ETUI), the Austrian Chamber of Labour (AK EUROPA), the European Social Observatory (OSE) and ÖGB Europabüro invite you to the webinar.
How and why did the European Semester end up as the main institutional vehicle of the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF)? To what extent did this new set-up change the power balance among key actors (e.g., financial and economic actors versus social affairs actors)? And, crucially, have social actors been sidelined in the context in the governance of the RRF?
